Progress today is heavily dependent on science and technology. In developing countries like Pakistan there is a greater need for this as most of the problems faced by us are a direct result of a lack of scientific and technological development. To achieve this we need, on the domestic side, greater support from the government and wider awareness among indigenous scientific community. There is also a requirement for more international cooperation and exchange in science and technology. Technology transfer cannot take place without science transfer.
